Frequently Asked Questions

Q.

What's the difference between Spirit™ Elite and Spirit bathroom tissue?

A.

Spirit Elite is a softer, thicker two-ply tissue. Spirit one-ply is our standard soft yet strong tissue. Both tissues have our best features like extraordinary softness, among the biggest roll size on the market, and no dyes or perfumes so they’re gentle on your skin.

Q.

Does Spirit bathroom tissue contain any dyes or perfumes?

A.

No, Spirit bathroom tissue does not have any dyes or perfumes.

Q.

Is Spirit Elite made with any recycled materials?

A.

The tissue is made with 100% virgin wood fibers. The cardboard core is made of 100% recycled materials.

Q.

Is Spirit bathroom tissue safe for septic systems?

A.

Spirit one-ply is safe for septic and RV systems.

Q.

How can I buy Spirit bathroom tissue?

A.

It is available through local grocery, convenience and retail stores.

Q.

Is your bathroom tissue really made by people with developmental disabilities?

A.

Yes, production is managed entirely by a few staff members and our disabled workers, whom we call “consumers.” The staff operates the high-tech machinery that converts large parent rolls of tissue into the smaller rolls we sell, and the wrapping equipment. Our consumers handle the majority of the work, including all the packing duties, filling every box that leaves our facility with Spirit – of both kinds!

Q.

How can I learn more about programs and services for people with developmental disabilities?

A.

You can learn more about the services and programs offered by MALCOLM EATON Enterprises here. Or, go to our Links page and choose any of the links listed. You could also ask about organizations in your community that provide services and programs.

Q.

How can I show support for people with developmental disabilities?

A.

Shop at stores and businesses that employ people with disabilities. If you’re a business owner, hire people with handicaps and agencies that employ disabled individuals. Get involved with the schools and agencies in your community that serve children and adults with developmental disabilities. And, buy Spirit Elite and Spirit bathroom tissue!
